Just had my operation the other day on Monday July 12th around 1:00 pm.  By 6:00 pm I was home trying to figure out how to lay down on my bed that was way to high for me to get into .  So I tried to lay down on the couch in the den and had to call the doctor on call for instructions because I was in so much pain at th time and really shouldn't of been released from the hospital so soon with just liquid vicodin and no after care facility to go to.  They told me to sit down and then go on my right side and turn over.  It was really hard but I did it .  I hope whoever is gettting the lap band goes into a aftercare place or has a nurse waiting for them for atleast two days after to take care of them 24 hrs around the clock.  This is my feelings maybe others dont have the same but I really needed help.  The doctor never told me to be prepared for anything like this, just a little pressure and uncomfortability.  Today is thursday and I'm finally feling alot better.  Only had to take the pain medicine one time today!  Let me know your experience or if you have any helpful information for me please.  Would love to hear from someone soon.
