  1. This support group is just what I need, I feel like such a failure. I was banded on 3/26/07 and in the first year I did pretty good, down 70lbs. Then slowly gained almost all back. So I sit here on the 1st day of 2011 and want to kick myself......almost 4 years since I was banded and I don't know what or why I am doing this to myself?! I can eat just about anything with Water gulping it down my throat, I seriously wouldn't be a bit suprised if I had a dilated esophagus at this point...... I just need support, how did you guys get back on the horse? I would love to hear from you! Jen
  2. Hi Everyone! Happy New Year 2011! It has been almost 4 years since my surgery (3/27/07). The first year post LB, I did pretty good and lost a total of 70lbs, then slowly I have put the weight back on and moved into all my old habits and also the "no no's" for banders........eating with Water, not choosing healthy options, etc. I just know that I can do this, I need help, I have lost sight of what I'm even supposed to do when choosing what to eat. I was considering joining WW online but am not sure if that's a good idea? I'm struggling today because I want to give myself the best chance this year to use the band correctly. Anyone in the same boat? Want to be support for each other this year! I know I got banded for a reason and that was to be healthier and live a longer life, I'm letting it slip through my fingers and I just can't let it this year. I will be turning 40 and I have to CHANGE!!!!! Seriously in desperate need of support, Jen
