Hello everyone, I finally got my surgery date last week. AUGUST 11, 2010 Yay!!!!!!! I have been in the process since Dec 2009 because my insurance co. required the 6mos medically supervised diet. howeveri must say that I worked hard and when my six mos were finished I had last 12.5 lbs. The next hold up was my Pulmonary clearence that was scheduled June 6, 2010. I went for the clearence and the Dr. made me come back for a follow-up 30days later (due to a switch in Asthma medications) this new appointment was sceduled for July 6, 2010. Well how about on June 30th the Pulmonary office called and tried to reschedule my appt for July 30, 2010. After i flipped out (ha, ha) i was given an appt for July 5th (the power of determination!!!!!!) and a week later my Surgeons office called with my date 8/11/10! Now i am getting all my pre-op testing and preparing for my Liquid pre-op diet!!! Thanks for reading and good luck to all the Aug 2010 Banders!!!!!! :thumbup:Luv Dena
