  1. for the first month post surgery I had ALOT of problem throwing up/sliming/having food stuck. It was difficult to learn to take smaller bites and chew chew chew because I used to inhale my food. But since I learned my lesson (after a month) I havent had any issues in over 4 months! (I am also notorious for drinking while eating... NOT GOOD! But I am "mastering" this band still...
  2. Thank you all so much for your comments and suggestions. I havn't been apart of a support group since I've been banded, and I am actually surprised to hear that I am not doing as bad as I thought... I am kinda ashamed to admit it now, but I havn't been back to the doc since my last fill 2 months ago because I felt like I wasn't doing enough to work with my band and my doc would be disapointed. I am my own worst enemy in this fight and I'm not giving up! Again, thanks for the support!
  3. I am 9 months out of surgery and have only gone from 267 to 230. I feel like a total failure! I take my protien, but am struggling with eating right and keeping up an exercise routine. I am so fed up with myself right now, any suggestions on what I can do to help get back on track? I am embarassed to say I had weight loss surgery not because I'm afraid people will say I took "the easy way out" (wich it is not) but because I feel like I have not been a success at all with this. Any suggestions much appreciated.
