I am in Lakewood Colorado and am having lapband to sleeve revision surgery at St Joe's on Aug 13. Very excited!

Conversion surgery on Aug 13. Since I am lower BMI and a conversion pre op diet doesnt start until Aug 6. I may do it for the full 2 weeks though - I had the fluid removed from band in June and have steadily gained weight ever since! Need this!

I am getting my band removed and conversion to a sleeve one operation on August 13. They removed all the fluid from my band June 10. I. am so encouraged by the positive stories! Everyone I eat with knows that I would be visiting the restroom several times during each meal and i also had that horrible portal pain. It is nice to know I am not alone!

I am glad I found this post - I have been having issues since my last fill almost 3 weeks ago. Almost every time I eat it comes back up. Only had .4 cc put in last time and I actually didnt think I needed anything added but I let them decide. I will be calling tomorrow to schedule a slight unfill.

hahaha - I agree - puking and barfing in my case too. Got my 3rd fill Thursday - only .4cc for a total of 6.4 cc - I think I found the "sweet spot" Yipeeee!

I have been having a horrible time with this since my last fill 2 weeks ago. More food gets stuck now and I can get it unstuck by drinking big gulps of water otherwise I am in the bathroom trying to PB to get unstuck and that is really gross and painful. Is this going to ruin my band????

It is so great to hear from all the people going through these emotions too. I am better since I first did the post - It is really comforting to know I am not alone - We are in this together... :biggrin:

Has anyone else experienced a mood change since getting banded? I am not sure what is going on with me but I seem to have very little patience with anything and have been quick to get angry with other people. I have not yet gone to a support group meeting at the dr office...Maybe I am just feeling alone in my journey. :thumbup: I had my surgery on 07-06-10 and my first fill a couple weeks ago. Anyone else have a change of some kind????
