  1. Keep at it, it will happen for you. I quit weighing myself daily, that just grew to frustration. If you are new to exercising and working out, you will gain quite a bit of muscle in the beginning as well. This will lead to not losing a bunch of weight, but it will be transforming your body into a fat burning machine . When you do start to shred the lb's off, it will happen a lot quicker with more muscle mass on your bones. You're doing it right, just be patient and keep up the good work!!!!
  2. Try mixing in a few days of interval training. Do a 5 minute warm up, then go as fast as you can for 30 seconds rest and go easy for 90-120 seconds, do this 8-10 times over the course of your jogging time and make sure to give yourself 5 minutes or so at the end for a cood easy cool down.
  3. Sounds like you are ready for your first fill. I was at the same exact point as you. Lost a bunch, hit a plateau and had my fill last Friday. I'm back on track of losing weight again in a quick couple of days. You have to remember that they don't put a lot of liquid in the band during the surgery. The hunger and appetitie gain is due to the fact that the swelling has gone down and now it's time to tighten that baby back up!!! Good luck
  4. Hello all, I am new to banding as of 12/20/10. Seems like I am one of the rare males on this site, although I just found this today so I haven't read all that many posts. My starting weight pre-surgery was 346, as of this morning I am at 311. My first fill is on 1/21, I am really looking forward to it, as of now I feel like there is nothing there, other than when I don't chew something right. My hunger and appetite hasn't gone down, but I am doing a pretty good job of policing myself and holding on until the first fill!!!!
