  1. I was banded on July 1st by Dr. Hill in Saranac Lake, NY. I was having trouble with my medications sticking and clogging the stoma. Wow did that ever hurt!! But I learned to go much slower with my pills (minutes rather than seconds) and they seem to be going ok now. I have received some conflicting information on when to go from clear liquids to creamy ones. One dietitian and the Lap band for Life book say two weeks post op. The hospital dietitian sent me home with a list where after the first couple of days, I can go to protein shakes. So, which is right?:thumbup:
