I am a week and four days after surgery.  I am feeling better each day.  This has been a long time coming.  I have struggled with my weight most of my life.  I never let my weight stop me, I teach, train other teachers, travel, is a mom of 3, and have a great time living life, sharing God's word.  I began having medical issuses, high blood pressure, diabetes-type II and now sleep apnea.  I promised myself that I would work hard to lose some weight but it was the same yo-yo affect.  Then another teacher suggested the gastric by-pass which she had and how it saved her life, my next door neighbor had the same surgery and she was doing good too, so I went to the infomation seminar and got excited about what I heard.  I gave weight-watcher a try for a few months then after much research, I chose the lapband and here I am....
