  1. Hi! I was banded on 7/13 too! I was nauseous the first few days, but I found that the more Water (well, Chrystal Light) that I drank, the more that went away. I am just dealing with the left shoulder. I am not hungry, but eating about 500 calories a day. I get the 64 ounces of water in... but my Protein varies. I can't believe I am not hungry. I have never been NOT hungry in my life!! Good luck with everything! Amanda
  2. Hi! Banded one week ago today! I feel really good... however, I have this throbbing but sharp pain in my left shoulder. It has been present really since surgery... Could this still be the lap-gas? Or is it something else? Any clues on when it will subside?!?
  3. July 13 is my date. Hard to believe it is less than two weeks away. I don't have a "prescribed" pre-surgery diet, but am trying to keep it low carb and fat/ high lean protien. Totally cut out fast and fried foods. If you are having surgery in July and would like to keep in touch by email, let me know! Would love the support!
  4. So, I am less than 2 weeks away from banding... and I am trying to do my pre-surgery diet (not required, but I will do what I can to shrink that liver.) Anyway, I have been eating, but I am SO HUNGRY! Really, like I feel hunger in my stomach. When I have the band, even though I am hardly eating anything, will I really NOT be hungry?!? THANKS!
