  1. I only had to go to the dietitian once in the beginning of the process which was a year ago. (Long time to satisfy insurance) I wish I could visit with one again now that my date is set for July 28. I am going to the support group next week. My Dr. just said to follow what BariatricEating.com . recommends.
  2. I had to go through 6 months of a doctor's survised weight lose program. I did get approved because I also have diabetics.
  3. My date is set for July 28 and I am both excited and very nervous. I was not required to lose any weight before I am banded but I have lose 10 lbs in the last 6 months. I am just reading to see what I need to stock up on before the surgery. My nutritional appointment was a year ago so that was for the birds. I had to go through 6 months under a Dr. weight lose plan before the insurance would approve. So I have had plenty of delays. Glad I found this forum.
