I am a 30 year old married mother of 1. My husband and I decided to start trying for baby number 2 but didn't have any success. After monthsof trying and fertility drugs, my Dr suggested I look into the band because it was being used to treat patients with PCOS with great success. After a long battle with PCOS (which affects my weight as well as fertility) I was willing to try anything to get my health back. I did some research and found that they in fact were having great success with PCOS patients and the band. I made an appointment with a surgeon and decided to move forward. We have put our plans of a second baby on hold for the time being while I have the band and get my health under control. I am being banded Wednesday, 6/30/10. I start my liquid tomorrow. I am really excited and nervous!
