  1. Hi there! Would love to be your bandster buddy!! I was just banded on June 21. I have my first fill on the 28th of this month. I'm so excited. I'm currently in "bandster hell" and I HATE IT!!! I've stalled on my weightloss and it just sucks. Would love to take this journey with you! Sharon
  2. Hi all! I'm three weeks post banding. I'm starting to crave all my old (junk) foods. I thought the longer I went without ~ the easier it would get. But it seems to be getting harder. Also, I'm waiting for my first fill, and it seems like now I'm hungry ALL the time. I try having protein and it maybe fills me up for an hour. If I have soup, it now takes 1 cup to fill me up vs 1/4 cup that I should have. Is anyone else in the same situation?
  3. I actually feel better today ~ but the gas pain is pretty intense still! but it's getting better everyday! Thank goodness! I had a few mini meltdowns this week, but still powering thru!
  4. Thanks everyone!!! I tried some Gas X chewable tablets & it seems to be helping. Pain is still there, but less. I truly appreciate your replies...because I did think something was severly wrong!!! You all helped me to sleep peacefully last night!
  5. Hi all! I'm newly banded (5 days) and I'm still having some intense pain under my left breast...near my heart. I had a hiatal hernia repaired during banding surgery. I'm not sure if that has something to do with it or not. Its painful to take a deep breath. Is this normal? Any thoughts or ideas? I'm still on a lose dose of pain meds ~ but feel like I should be off of them by now. HELP!
  6. Congrats! I was banded the same day!! Hope you're feeling well. I'm nervous + excited, but still in some minimal pain. We can do this!!
  7. Hi there! I'm just newly banded (5 days) and would love to meet a buddy or mentor! I'm a 36 year-old single female currently living in Nebraska, but soon moving to Oklahoma to pursue my Master's degree full-time. I'm hoping to lose about 200 lbs, if not a little more (trying to be relistic!!) If any of you are interested in being a buddy ~ just let me know. I know none of us could ever have too many friends or supporters!!
