  1. As of today, I am 2 weeks and 1 day since getting banded. I initially lost 9 lbs the first week but noticed that my recovery has been a little too easy as I have gained back 4 of the lost 9lbs already  I have decided to buy frozen meals to help with portion size. I do notice that I get really uncomfortably full when I eat and drink soon after. It actually keeps me feeling full for a lot longer that waiting to drink if you can believe that. Unfortunately, I learned just before my surgery that the surgeon was leaving for his own practice, and today I learned that the nurse practitioner is following him so I have to wait a month to get my first post-op check-up. I am already looking into moving to another clinic for my follow-up and fills since the hospital has not even hired replacements as yet.
