No complaints to date. Weigh-ins go smoothly, and we just got word that fitness group classes are free for life!

Finally back on the forum...Hope all went well with your banding. Mine was no problemo, slept a lot the first week and came to LOVE broth, lol...and Italian ice!
When I went my first appt with the surgeon a week later I had gained 1-1/2 lbs and was devastated. But the aftercare coordinator says I just didn't drink enough fluids...so DRINK UP, folks! I thought I was awash in fluids but I guess my body didn't think so.
Had my first apt with the aftercare coordinator today and was down 10 lbs in the past two weeks. Whew...that makes up for the first 1-1/2 of gain.
Mushies for another week and then slowly into "normal" foods. I have an appt for a fill next week but that's evidently an error, it's not supposed to be until the week after. But I can go anyway they said and see how things stand. Good luck everyone, I hope all your journeys are as (so far!) easy as mine

Congrats on the easy time of it and good luck in the future My time is scheduled for 10 am tomorrow but they'll call today to confirm. people keep asking if I'm nervous but I have to say, not yet! I'm a quick healer and my doctor is fabulous so I expect things to go super smoothly. See you guys back here soon:thumbup: -

Good luck all! My surgery is Friday morning and I couldn't be more excited. Pre-op diet has been a breeze (though it had 2 days of colonoscopy prep at the beginning of it, it just happened to be scheduled this week too). -

Woohoo!! Insurance approval came today! My first appointment with the doctor is the 9th, and a week later surgery. HTG, I am soooo excited. The flight out of town next week for the 4th should be my last to worry about whether the seat belt is gonna make it across

I'm tentatively scheduled for the 16th of July. Insurance approval gets initiated today, so fingers crossed!

I'm tentatively scheduled for July 16th. I guess they expect to get the insurance approval by then, so I'm psyching myself up for that date :smile2: 116 pounds from now I'll be a happy girl!
