I have been overweight most of my life. I have tried various fad diets. I am ready for a lifestyle change. I turn 40 next year and the time is now to pursue a healthy/fit attitude for life. I was diagnosed with hypertension a year ago and recently told that I am pre-bordeline diabetic. Being in the healthcare profession and I encounter patients who can but choose not to take control of their lives and I refuse to be apart of that statistic. I am leaping out on faith an embarking on this journey with the support of my family and friends.
