  1. Makes a lot of sense to me and I'm no where near my surgery yet. But, from what I'm told, you're checked out and screened very well before the surgery, so you should try to take a deep breath and relax. I'm sure you've chosen a great surgeon and now it's time to put your faith in his abilities, right? I will think great thoughts and send them your way. Keep your eye on the prize. You're on your way to a whole new you! How exciting is that?! Did you take ''before'' pics, so you'll be able to track your progress? I've been looking at those posted on this site for awhile this afternoon and it is so inspiring!
  2. Thanks, Jodi. Sounds like I found the right place . I wish you great success with your weight loss. How are you feeling, just a few days after your surgery? That is one of my questions... the recovery time. I have so many questions. I will keep poking around the site to see what I can find out :0. Thanks again!
  3. Hi, I just found this forum after making my initial appointment with my surgeon's office. I am very nervous, but excited. I keep reading articles on the internet and really do not know what to expect. I am hoping to make some connections here and find out what others have experienced. I am from Loveland, Colorado. I currently weigh 346 lbs. and I need to lose approximately 180 lbs. That just seems impossible. Thank you for having this forum.
