I felt a little depressed a day or two after. I felt like how did I get so bad that I actually needed surgery to fix me. That past quickly. I didn't loss much weight the first few weeks, FYI, so don't let that get you down. As far as the gas, I had my surgery May 28 and I still have large amounts of gas daily, it been quit a struggle. -
Thanks for the info, this has been a big problem for me.

Same thing happened to me. I did not lose much the first two weeks of surgery. When I started eating more and walking daily the weight started coming off. Banded May 28 and lost 33 pounds so far.

Lap Band May 28, lost 33 pounds. Having a second fill this Tuesday, looking forward to that. Starting to feel hungry, still keeping to a very strick diet but hunger and affraid I might slip. -

I feel the same way. I had my lap band 5/28 and since Tuesday I have not lost an ounce. I ve been on a restricted diet of 3 protien shakes, 2-2oz of protien, 1 starch, 1diary per day. Next week I need to add more an I am afraid if I do I ll gain weight? I feel very discourage, I expected to see results with these diet restrictions.
