  2. Hello everyone! I was banded on 5/25/2010 and I have been on my liquid diet. Everything has been alright but when it comes to getting Protein into my diet it becomes a problem. I have tried taking medifast shakes, sugar-free carnation instant Breakfast, sugar free muscle milk, this jello-like sugar free concoction (42g protein per shot) & unflavored whey protein. After a few sips my stomach seems to blow up and I get extremely uncomfortable. In order to get some protein, I've been pureeing egg whites and putting it broth-I've tolerated this very well. Has anybody had a problem with Protein Shakes? Also, do many of you include protein shakes in your diet after the first couple weeks after surgery? Any info would be greatly appreciated! -Angela
  3. I was banded on May 25, 2010 and last night was awful. I was wondering if constipation is something that lasts just the first week or longer. If longer, do you take laxatives often or just fiber?
