My surgery is June 1 and I can't wait! I agree...I am so looking forward to the days when I push my plate away because I can't eat another bite! I am also looking forward to: -Shopping in the Misses section and not the Plus Size -Not constantly thinking about the size of my body and thinking about what others are saying about me! -Wanting to work out and not just having to work out! -Not feeling ashamed and want to run the other direction when I run into someone I went to high school with:biggrin:

I don't think I can do the shakes! I was on a 16 week meta-fast liquid diet where all I "ate" were these powdered shakes that you mixed with water:eek:The most disgusting things ever! To this day I still gag when I think of them!!!!!

It makes me feel better to know that others are going through the exact same journey with me! I am so excited!!! Good luck to everyone who has their surgery within the next week!

I can't believe that in just one week, my life will be forever changed! I am currently on the liquid diet and it is not as bad as I thought it would be. I am so ready for this new chapter in my life to begin! For the past 10 plus years I feel like I have been in hibernation - trapped in a body that was ever-increasing in size. Now I am just a week away from getting the tool I need to re-awaken myself and I cannot wait!

I can't believe I am one week away from surgery. Such an array of emotions and feelings are flooding through me. I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life! Anyone else just one week away or just had surgery? How are you all feeling???

My surgery is exactly 1 week from today - June 1!!!! I am so excited, my journey has gone very quickly. I had an introduction meeting on April 13th and now here I am one week from the main event! I am 3 days into my pre-op liquid diet. Its not very fun having to have soup when it is 90 degrees and humid outside - oh well it is all worth it in the end (I hope)!
