  1. There is no way I could eat all that, even before surgery. I would be lucky to finish 1/2 of it. I eat about 1400-1500 calories a day, 70-90 grams of Protein a day. I would say I eat about 1/2 of what I ate before surgery, it is not the amounts they talked about with the band. I excercise 6 days a week doing various classes. A lot of cardio and 2 days a week weights. I did quit watching what I was eating and exercising for a couple months but got my head back on straight because I dnot want to gain back the 20 or so lbs I already lost, plus more. I guess Im just frustrated because that I thought the band would help me more than it is.
  2. Nina, I am in the exact same place as you. I was banded in June. I have a 10cc band and I my band is completely filled. I lost weight the 1st couple months and now it has stopped. I am hungry all the time also and if I wait to long to eat i get a burning sensation in my stomach that is aweful. I dont feel that I have much restriction and do not know what to do about it. My doctor told me that my band is full and the rest is up to me but where is the restriction that they say this is supposed to give us. If I have to work this hard, why do I even have the band I may as well just remove it and do it myself. I feel as if i was deceived and should have went with gastric bypass but now I have lost my opportunity, not sure that insurance will pay for another surgery.
  3. I bought 2 bottles and it has white stuff floating in it. Is this normal?
  4. I am scheduled to be banded on June 1st in Minneapolis Mn. I have been on the pre-op liquid diet for a week now. Its been tough but tolerable and I am glad I am going through all of these craving before I get banded.
  5. I am getting banded on June 1st. I have been on the liquid diet for almost a week now. I have only lost 5 lbs. and I'm a little nervous right now but also looking forward to getting banded.
