  1. I'm so sorry that you're feeling this way. I don't have any advice about fills/unfilling/refilling, etc. because I was recently banded on 6/1/10. I can offer you an AWESOME "healthy lifestyle" website FULL of informative information. The site has several "teams/groups" of individuals who have been banded. There are many, many, many other support groups for just about any situation/lifestyle/challenge you may have. For instance, if you suffer from high blood pressure, emotional eating, depression; or if you like P90X, The Firm Aerobic videos, or if you're a walker---there are support groups!! In addition to that there are many articles on various subjects regarding living a healthy lifestyle. Plus, there's a food tracker and a wealth of other info. OK, ok, what's the website. It's Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople. Check it out and if you decide to join, I think you won't regret it. You'll find so many others who are able to offer you encouragement and who can cheer you on to meet the goals you have set out for yourself. Remember sparkpeople.com. Check it out!!!!
  2. Hi All!!! I was banded June 1st and I have the WORST shoulder pain I have ever had!!! Good grief!!! Wednesday--not so bad but Thursday and today, I feel like chopping my left arm OFF!!! I walked 1 mile on Wednesday and Thursday and I walked 1-1/2 miles today but the pain is still present. I'm sleeping on a heat pad and I've taken Mylanta and Gas-X but no relief. I'm a trooper, so I'll just have to suffer thru until the pain passes. Good luck to all!!!!! Also, how do you guys get the ticker on your page? I've tried with no success!!! Help!!!
  3. Well, I'm banded--went in today 6/1 and all went well. Of course I'm sore but I'm moving around. Feels like I need to burp---is that normal? Gonna walk a bit more.....til next time. Take care!!!
  4. Thanks for all your replies!!!! It's 9:50pm and I report to the hospital in less than 12 hours. Gonna try to go to bed and get some rest!!! Criveraarroyo best wishes to you, I'll post tomorrow when I get home. Goodnight!!!
  5. I am so EXCITED but ANXIOUS about being banded on 6/1. My mind is racing and I keep having second thoughts. I know this is what I WILL do but the anxiety won't go away!!!! I'm paying myself and thoughts keep torturing me of what all I can do with $10k!!! I'm trying to keep myself busy, busy, busy so I won't think about things too much. My doctor told me because my BMI is 32, he would only do 1 incision on me. Did anyone else only have 1 incision? My doctor also gave me a 3day pre-op diet......so far, so good---but I do want to chew on something and that something is not ice!!!! Any suggestions? Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I WILL do this, I'm just anxious!!!:cursing::cool:
