Hello all, My surgeon suggested the placation as well, and I initially agreed. I have sense changed my mind because it is considered investigative and insurance companies are not covering it. (At least my insurance company isn't) With that being said, I don't feel comfortable having the placation done. What are your thoughts? Kimberly

Hello All, I just had my appointment with my nutritionist!!! I am excited because I am finally taking steps towards a better quality of life for myself. It has taken me years to discuss bariatric surgery in positive way. I always saw surgery as an easy way out or admitting to failure. After some brutally honest searching of my life, I came to the decision the LapBand is for me. I am not cheating nor am I a failure, I am using a tool to assist me in looking and feeling better physically. I will be making my other necessary appointments next week with hopes of insurance approval and a set surgery date by the end of January, if not soon.
