  1. Hey everybody! I got my standard band 7/30/08 and with 6 ccs quickly lost 60 lbs. (I started with a total of 100 to lose) In May of 09, I went in because my weight loss has slowed and I got an additional .5 ccs. Well, I totally stopped losing weight and even gained back about 8 lbs. After a YEAR (duh, me) I finally realized that it was too TIGHT--I was throwing up more often, and was eating soft (bad) foods because there was so little food I could eat due to the tightness. 2 weeks ago, I went back in to my surgeon who took me down to 5 ccs. He sent me home to let my stomach kind of rest. During that week, I felt pretty much NO restriction. I went back in this past Thursday and he increased my fill to slightly more than 6 ccs. Since then, I've had a bad stomachache. I feel like I have been kicked in the stomach hard. I finally realized Saturday that it could be related to stomach acid (but keep in mind, I have no heart burn, just stomach pain) and I bought some prilosec. The prilosec is providing a lot of relief, but I feel a general sore/tender feeling all over my stomach. It even is a little difficult to stand straight. It's sort of similar to when you are recovering from your LB surgery and you walk around sort of hunched over because your stomach muscles hurt. SO, my question is---did we just do too much too soon this past week and aggravate my stomach, or do I need to be concerned about slippage, etc? What do you guys think? I am having no trouble eating--I feel some restriction, but I am not throwing up, etc.
