    I am in Fort McMurray, will you be paying for the surgery yourself? If so how much does it cost there? I know in ontario it is 18000 right now. That is how I will be doing it paying for it myself........... just checking around still gathering information for myself.

    Hi I am new here and am looking into having lapband surgery done in the very near future. My Dr has referred me to edmonton and well has informed me it could take 3 years for this to happen and I am not prepared to wait so will have to pay for it myself. Can any of you tell me where u have had ur surgery and where?
