  1. I found the chicken noodle (egg noodles...approved) and tomato soup from Monarch weight center is really good. I put 1% milk instead of water in the tomato soup...more protein....they have no fat, no sugar and i think 1 carb...15 grams of protein. They were satisfying and they have other flavors too.
  2. I'm so glad I found you all!! I was banded on May 3. I was doing fine with the liquid diet, until Sunday. Stupid me made brunch for the mom's. I was soooo hungry, I thought I was going to slap someone! I'm so moody (poor husband)....I called the nurse where I got the procedure done....asked if there was anything that can be done? I'm following all the rules, but the 4 oz every hour isn't cutting it. She put me on Phentermine....diet pill...to help me get thru the next 3 weeks of liquid diet. It's magic...not hungry at all...having to set an alarm on my phone to remind me that it's time to drink a shake. I did this procedure so I wouldn't have to do diet pills anymore...but I'll take them to get thru this phase, until solid foods. I'm glad I was able to find this place, to see that I'm not the only one hungry post-op. I thought something might have went wrong with the band. Julie
