I am so excited...already my food cravings are gone. Surprisingling I'm enjoying the liquid diet. Since surgery 4 days ago, I've been drinking milk, sf hot cocoa, protien powder, watered down pudding, and creamy tomato Soup. I wanted something more today so I made cream of wheat very runny with milk so I could drink it though a straw. It tasted so yummy! and I didn't have an problems keeping it down. Do you think it is okay to eat cream of wheat in the liquid stage? It does have some texture to it so I'm just a little afraid that it might be too strong this early in the healing process? I want my stomach/band to heal as best as possible. For all of you long time bandsters, I am curious as to what you say about Cream of Wheat?? Thanks!!!! Happy Girl A

Wow, the information about the appetite returning is kind of a bummer. I'm trying not to over think things right now. I just live in the moment of now, and try not to worry too much about the future. Thanks for the info on the cream of wheat. A

I can't stop eating since I scheduled my surgery! Anyone else have this problem? Doc says to try and lose lbs before band on Nov. 29. I just feel so out of control. I have gained weight and feeling down about it. Did anyone else gain on the prediet? Thanks! A Seattle, WA

Hi, I'm just waiting for my 1st appointment with Dr. Montgomery at NWWLC, so that I can schedule the surgery. My appointment isn't until the 13th...I wish it were sooner. Maybe I'll call to see if I can change it. My biggest concern is the surgery timing. I want it before the end of the year. I'm concerned that our holiday house guests (that are staying 10 days) will notice all of the mushy food. Since I'm not going to tell them about the surgery, I'm not sure if they will wonder why I'm eating mushy food. I was just wondering if anyone else out there had a similar situation? Thanks! AAL
