  1. thats a huge amount of calories. i would definatly consult with someone else but what i did is cut down on the carbs but you said that doesn't make you feel good so that might not work for you but i really do think that's an extreme approach
  2. thanks for the replies. i know my doctor said something about there being too much sugar but i just don't see how. i have a friend who went through the same doctor and she ate cheese and only did the pre op diet for 4 days and the doctor said there was lots of room so i dunno i guess they don't expect everyone to follow the diet to a tee so the exclude more things. my problem was i'm a very picky eater so i have a limited selection of things to eat and i end up eating the same thing over and over again and then get burned out. i hope this doesn't carry over into the after care cause i'll be screwed
  3. i'm scheduled for surgery next weds and am very excited. i was supposed to have it this weds but some things got messed up. anyway i've been doing really good on my pre-op diet but i wanted to know if anyone else's doctor said no to dairy of any kind. mine said it contains too much sugar...i've been doing alot of research and i haven't seen any other person say that their doctor has said this too...it just really limits my choices in eating and to be honest i'm tired of having the same meal every day and don't want it to be like forever. i feel like he took away all my variety ya know?
