  1. I've been banded for 18 months and have lost 41 pounds so far, so I have been living with my band for awhile and am familiar with its side effects. However, I tried to eat some unfriendly things this past weekend and had major vomiting. I've had lots of producting burping before but the side effects have never been this strong. Since this weekend, and getting progressively worse, I'm unable to get much food down, not even clear broth, and my stomach hurts even when I sip Water. Is this just irritation that will fix itself once the swelling from the vomiting goes down? Not to be gross, but I have only peed once today (when I woke up this morning). The band has never felt so tight I don't think. Should I go to the doctor or wait it out? I would hate to spend the money to the get band loosened only to start eating too much and gaining weight again (I've had that problem before). Is this temporary or a real thing I need to be concerned about?
