Hello everyone. My name is Scott and I had my lapband procedure done on April 29th, 2010. At my initial visit at the seminar, I weighed in at 292 lbs. Today, May 3rd, 2010, I'm at 278 lbs. The liquid diet has been tough at times, especially for someone that has been addicted to food for so many years. My surgery was ~noon time and I was home walking the same day ~5:00. I took Friday, and the weekend to recover and today I am back at work. My work is sedentary work so getting back to work so soon has not been an issue for me. The pain has been mainly from gas build-up and not by the incisions and although uncomfortable at times due to gas, it has not been a bad expereince at all. If I knew what I knew today, post op surgery, I would do it all over again, without hesitation.I am so excited about the opportunity to start a new life with my lap band.
