Is there something wrong with me?
Yes after reading that people do not have any issues like me made me be thankful. It stinks that some do have those issues though. I have started eating but I will say my main things is to remember to take very little bites. But Very glad things are going great for you.

Is there something wrong with me?
Thank you everyone for replying.. Now here is my next question... They gave me a 4cc band. The only answer I got from the doctor was that it's because I could handle it. What does that mean? Why are so many getting bigger cc's? I tried getting the explanation from him, and by reading threads on here but no one really answers it. I appreciate it.

Is there something wrong with me?
Okay great! Did you guys have trouble drinking at the beginning? Because I am already having yogurt, any kind of drinks, soups with broth, I had a bite of apple sauce. Which I accidentally ate lol. However it went down fine. But called right away to make sure I wasn't going to die and the doc said I was fine lol.

Is there something wrong with me?
I keep reading on here how people are in pain, and how they are barely drinking and so forth. Well I just had my surgery on Saturday. The next day I was off all my pain medication because I didn't need it. Where my port is, is swollen but is going down more and more. When I am sleeping on my side it's a little uncomfortable, but nothing a pillow under the area doesn't fix. I have had no gas pains anywhere nor at any time did I have any, I can drink whatever I want right now. Yesterday, just 4 days after surgery I was cleaning my whole house. The only pains I get is a little pinching from the port stuff, but it's not painful just a little weird. Today I went back to work. They just told me not to lift over 25lbs. So I need to know if any of you felt this good because as much as I see others having complication that seems normal to me. Yet, I am not sure if I lucked out or maybe something is wrong with me? HELP! I am now worried!

Flying out to Mexico for Surgery 8/14/10 and......
I have not been stressing this whole procedure. I fly out tomorrow morning from Florida to Mexico and I have not even really thought about the whole surgery is this normal? I have not been worried, or concerned, and been very passive about this. I think my friends and family are more worried then I am. Not just because I am going to Mexico but because I am having the Band done. To everyone that just had surgery in the last few days just wanted to say I hope you are all okay and feeling well. God Bless!

August 2010 anyone?
Sometimes you do not have to do a pre-op if your BMI is low enough. Also it could just be the surgeon's choice and he is comfortable with not doing one. But then again I am not a Doc. Just from threads I have read.

August 2010 anyone?
I just wanted to say lately I been getting headaches myself and what I have been doing is taking a spoon full of peanut butter. I am supposed to only have liquids myself but I am not much of a pill taker so I rather the peanut butter and hope that it wont take a toll with the surgery. Maybe you could eat some too to help. Good luck!

August 2010 anyone?
That is really cute. It made me smile big and remind me of a time that I had my wisdom teeth pulled and all I could do was smile with the gauze hanging out. How are you feeling today?
