thanks guys talked to hubby about getting a loan will find out more this week,hopefully I will be able to get the loan also hoping I can have the sleeve done by the holidays!!

:cursing:So I called and called and called my ins company and they told me everything that I needed to know and what I was going to have to pay for before and after surgery and that if I have the surgery date set before sept 1st (NOT DONE JUST SET)then I wont have to pay a extra $5,000 duc....so....I set a date to have my sleeve done on OCT 12th.....I was so HAPPY:thumbup:to start my new life.......THEN......they dr's office called me and told me that the Ins said that I will have to pay the 5,000 anyway that someone there messed up and told me wrong(and thats my faught....NO!)I have fought till I'm now just so damn pissed(sorry). The Ins rep said that are making it right now,ummm dummy what are you making right? So now I dont know what to do:confused1:...I dont just have$5,000 laying around:crying::crying::crying::crying:.I'm so upset I was and still am ready to start my new life!!! Sorry for the venting but who better to know what I'm going thur then ya'll.......any help or kind words are needed.....thanks:sad0:

Hi :thumbup: to all, My name is Shelley and I'm will be having my surgery soon,I have a date set for Oct 12th but I may move it to Nov.Dont know what I'm going to do.....Im stuck between having the sleeve or lapband done??!! Im 34 and no kids due to weight and PCOS,Dr advised me that I need to get weight off and it will help with PCOS and having kids.Here is where the problem is......I want to have the sleeve done cause.... 1.dont have to go back for fills(drs office is 1hr 30 away) 2.dont have to worry about band slipping 3.with the band I can have it loosened while PG,with the sleeve I have to worry about the baby and myself getting enough food so I have no clue what Im going to do....any help will be great!!

I have a question.......I'm wanting the sleeve done but my OB/GYN thinks I shoud have the lapband done due to me wanting kids after I loose some weight. So I guess my question is has anyone got PG after having the sleeve and were there any problems? :huh0:

I'm looking into having the lapband done,but not sure on what Dr to use.Heard Dr. Charles Beall was really great!! I spoke with another dr in Tyler but I was not impressed with the staff or him. I'm looking into getting the ladband done,I'm 5'4" 270 OMG I'm almost at 300 I never thought I would let myself get this overweight. It is now causing problems in my married life :drool: I'm married to a great man and he supports me in everything I do but at this point in my life I just dont know what to do.....I dont want to lose my life due to being over weight:crying:.PLEASE HELP!!!!:smile: I live in Jacksonville Texas and looking for a Dr with great bedside manners! Alot of ppl around here have said that Dr beall is great!
