  1. Hey there - I am in the same boat - banded May 11th now with 6cc's in 10 cc band and nothing - no restriction, no weight loss. totally discouraged. I am hoping that once I do have restriction that I will be able to loose the weight. I just don't feel like more dieting - feels like that is all I have ever done and I am tired of it - I just don't want to be hungry or thinking about food anymore. I just want this band to work and cut my apetite! Let's hope that it is just a matter of time and restriction. Unless of course there was a batch of bad bands installed in May...just kidding (I hope!) Keep the faith! Jen
  2. I am looking for some advice or maybe even re-assurance that I am not the only one that this has ever happened to! I had surgery in May 2010 and have not lost any weight since. Lost 13 lbs pre-opt - but that is it. I still feel that I can eat almost anything - so I do not think I am at my sweet spot yet, I am active as a mother of 3 young children - but the weight has just stayed the same. I feel discouraged. I see many people have lost a lot of weight - just wondering, did you lose it in the first few months or was it when you hit your sweet spot? Weight is 223 lbs currently. 5.6 cc's in 10 cc band. Thanks, Jen
