I FINALLY got my Approval and I am indeed having surgery the 29th of this month. The count down is on for me.. 27 days and counting. I am one happy person right now!

I got APPROVED today, I will find out my surgery date tomorrow and I have to start my liquid diet soon. I am so excited I can't control myself..lol...

I am supposed to have my surgery on July 29th, Lord willing and the insurance sends out the final approval letter. I am dreading it if it comes back a NO.. I will be devastated for sure, but will appeal me case of course. I also found out I was shorter than originally told, I went from 4'10 to 4'8 1/2..I was like crap, I am already short, now I am even shorter..lol.. Hello. I am scheduled for sometimes in July, the 30th is the date given. Depending on if my insurance will do the final approval it could be sooner than that. I have done everything needed so I am just waiting on the insurance company to work their magic..lol I am so nervous about it, but very excited to start this journey to a new me. You are very lucky to only have to wait 3 months, I have to wait 6 months for my insurance company to approve me. Good luck with everything.:smile:

You and I seem to be on the same schedule, I am praying for a May 3rd surgery date, I will find out Wed for sure. I am starting my pre-op diet tomorrow and hoping to loose some weight before surgery as well. Gotta get my liver smaller so the surgery will be successful. Good luck to you~:thumbup:

I am like you I did alot of my work myself. So far I have been approved but have all these requirements before I can get the surgery, I have 2 things on the list of 10 left and then I will be ready. Which both of those are already scheduled for this week. Good luck to you!

I just found out today the same thing, I am hoping that my Drs notes will be enough if not my plan is to go back to them and ask if they can write something up on all the weight programs I have attempted and all the diets they have put me on. Lets pray we both get what we need so we can take this journey soon. Good luck to you. I have everything I need, except for the Psyc eval and a EGD and both of those are scheduled.
