  1. Hi, Don't feel bad, I am in the boat with you. The weight issue has consumed me too. I don't feel right in my own body and there is so much out there that I want to do but am holding back because of the weight. I had surgery on 5-1-10 and don't feel that I am anywhere close to being at the weight I should be. Don't fret, you are not alone. This can be a long lonely process, but remember you have people on this site that are there to support you and that understand you. As far as going back to school, do it now, while you are young!! :-). I am 37 and going back to school now and it is hard. I have a family that needs me so that takes away from my studying time. Love them to death, but it is hard. Wake up tomorrow with a smile and say I am taking it one day at a time, no more. Take baby steps and eventually you will be running a marathon!!! :-)
  2. Hi, New to the blogging thing but really need the support of people who are going through what I am going through. I was banded on the April 1st as well. I had the exact same feelings you did. When I read your blog it was like I was writing it myself. Made me feel good that I wasn't the only one having the same concerns. Since the banding things are going okay, but I am sick as heck of eating liquids and puree stuff. I want some real food. I can't get passed the pureed meats. The texture is killing me. I keep praying that this was worth it. I just keep telling myself to get passed the next couple of weeks and things will get back to normal soon. Normal food again, just smaller portions. I crave pizza so bad!!! :-( This site is a blessing from God. It is a place where people understand me. Thanks guys!!!
