  1. Thank you! I do have some pain. However it is not unbearable. Today I am 2 days post-op and I feel pretty good. I'm able to walk (like a little old lady). I am constanly doing laps around my house. I have been taking the pain meds right when I go to bed. I'm hoping I won't need to take them anymore, beacuse I am feeling pretty good right now. My surgery was not all that bad at all. I went in at about 10:40 a.m. and was in recovery by 1:20. It took a little longer than I thought it would. The first time they got me up walking in the hospital I was extremely dizzy and lightheaded. Besure you have someone there with you at the hospital and also at home. I find it very hard to bend squat and get in and out of bed (my bed sits up pretty high so that doesnt make it any easier). I have little bit og gas pains but nothing to major. I'm hoping that by me walking a lot will keep the gas pains away. Are you in the approval process?
  2. Hello. I am brand new to this website. I was banded yesterday down in West Hills ,CA. I was considering lapband for a little over a year, and once I heard that my insurance would cover it 100% how could I not do it. It was a nice and quick process for me. I have already lost 20lbs in 2 weeks just from eating what they tell you to in the pre-op diet. I am looking forward to see how much more I can lose. Looking forward to getting to know some people on this page.
