  1. At work today I was sitting in the cafeteria with a friend eating a muesli bar and chatting. Next thing I know I am back in my office with my friend saying "are you ok" etc. I don't remember leaving the cafe, walking across the road and going back into my work building heading up to my office. Thankfully I work in a hospital and the girls called the RN and she came and took my blood sugar level and that was fine. She then checked my blood pressure and that was about 150/105. I honestly don't remember going back to my office, I don't think I blacked out, but I felt fine. I did worry my work colleague and she said I should go home. Honestly, I have not had a good couple of days at work and haven't slept a full nights sleep since last Thursday, I also haven't eaten a proper meal since Saturday - which I know is bad. I haven't been drinking my water and just have been tired, stressed and such things. I am sorry I worried my work colleagues, and the RN did scare me a bit and say I could have blood clots and I should go to my doctor, but I know that I haven't been sleeping, haven't been eating, haven't been drinking but it was hard to convince them that I was fine. Sorry for the long winded story, but has anyone else had a same sort of episode. I am not on BP medication, actually the only thing I take is my vitamins. Thanks H

  4. HMMMM you could call it a lightheaded feeling... permalink Hi, Am new to this thread. I am in Adelaide and was banded by Dr Justin Bessell on 1st July 2009. Starting weight 150.2kg - now down to 120kg. Happy with progress, but wanted to ask if anyone else has had or is having this problem. I have thought quite a bit about how I could describe what I am feeling, going through, so here goes. Some times through out the day I get this lightheaded, fuzzy head, not dizzy feeling and this can happen sometimes a lot through out the day or 1 or 2 times at different times of the day. It is scaring me a touch. I have had blood tests and they have all come back fine. I am taking my Vitamins, and making sure I drink enough Water throught out the day. So there, I have tried my hardest to put into words this strange feeling I am having. Here's hoping someone else is going through the same thing, or others can offer me advice or help. Thanks H

  6. Hi there everyone. Just wanted to say Hi and let you know my little story. I live in Adelaide, South Australia and have been banded for 9 months to the day. I was banded on 1st July 2009 by Dr Justin Bessell at Wakefield Hospital. My starting weight was 150.2kg and can now confidently say I am 120kg. I did Optifast for 1 month pre surgery and lost 10kg. Surgery went well and I am happy with the journey I am now travelling. I do have a few questions that I would like answered, so I am going to find the right place to post them, but I just wantedt to drop by and say Hi and thanks to one and all for a great website. Thanks H
