  2. I know there are no "secrets" I just want to have an open mind... and get ideas on things I can try and see what works for me... and trust me I read a lot ... so I have a pretty good idea of what to do and exspect.... :thumbup:
  3. Im in the process of getting banded... and I wanted to know if those of you that have been successful can help those waiting to get band .... I would LOVE to know your secrets! lol :thumbup: I know some of you do some kind of special diet..like Atkins,WW or just simply count your calories... ect. and I wanted to have an Idea of what a typical day for you is! THANKS

Today I had my comprehensive health evaluation and i was cleared... but I felt that they kept traying to change my mind to do the bypass surgery :thumbup: and one of the nurses said that my Doc. only likes to do LAP-BAND® on patients with a 50 or less bmi...and Im on the 50 +.... do any of you had the LAP-BAND® surgery and was in the 50's or higher? Im a little frustrated...:thumbup: Thanks:smile2:

HELLO I went to the info session and I was told it was only 700 dollars for the testing and then they would send the papers for the approval, and i was wondering how did you find out that the doctor dosnt do the surgery? :/ the reason that im dong the surgery there is because i have UNITED HEALTH CARE and that is the hospital that is closer to me and that is approved by my insurance.... and its a center of excellence :bored: thanks for the info!
  11. Did any of you got anxious while doing the process to get approved?... I'm hoping everything goes well... but you know i keep thinking in the back of my head... what happends if I dont get approved? just wanted to vent a little thanks for listening :bored:
