  1. I dont think you will have much of a problem with your stomach sagging. Your young and haven't been carrying that much weight for that long. I had about 70 odd pounds to lose when i got banded at 19 and have in the 18 months lost 55. From my experience, i've just shrunk everywhere without any excess skin sag. My jelly belly (which i thought would end up all loose and gross) has just downsized. Its amazing to think where the fat all went. Its still early days to say what will happen to my doughy stomach im carry around; whether it will tone up completely, i dont know. Only real issue has been my breasts! They were the first to go, which is why im considering breast augmentation in the next year or so. But like i said, nothing has really sagged. The boobs just downsized like everything else. And the only thing worse than big full droopy boobs are small droopy boobs:( Just make sure to exercise. I bet i would have horrific bingo wings if it wasnt for working out so just make sure you keep that up. Im sure you will be fine so dont worry!!! Best of luck!!!
  2. I'll be your friend!! haha. Im 20 as well and have been banded almost a year and a half ago now. You must be sooo excited ! Many MANY people i have talked to who have had the surgery have told me how they just wish they had the opportunity to get it done as young as we have. How long do you have to go?
  3. Hello:) I had my band done at Hospital INT earlier this year and though i have never been in a hospital for any other reason, im pretty sure the service i received there is the best im ever going to get! It was so clean and modern and small. Just absolutely lovely. My mum was actually scheduled for a procedure down at Hospital Angeles on that same day as me, so i didn't have her around during those tough hours right before, during, and then after the surgery. But i have to say all the staff made me feel so comfortable and kept me company to calm me down..it was really nice. I even got to meet everyone (surgeons, other doctors, and nurse) the night before at our hotel; they love to hug! haha. You really cant go wrong with H. INT as far as im aware. I was upset to leave! Oh and Tia, the website is Hospital INT Instituto Nefrologico de Tijuana, Renta de Qurofanos en Tijuana, Los mejores quirofanos de tijuana hope this helps :grouphug:
