I got a Gastric band on March 18, 2010. I did very well for many years and lost almost 100 pounds. I actually LOVED my band. Then a couple of years ago the GERD from hell started. They removed all the fluid from my band (which cured the GERD) and then Covid hit. With no restriction and not being able to go to the gym I pretty quickly put back on almost 40 pounds. So discouraging. Had the band removed and a successful revision to sleeve on 9/21/20. Fingers crossed this all works.
