  1. :nervous I was banded the 12th of September. I've lost 20lbs, but have to wait until the end of november for a fill. I'm not really feeling as restricted as I did the first 2 weeks post op. I'm getting scared, because I feel like I'm going to gain all I've lost by the time I have a fill. Does anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks for all of your help and suport.
  2. Hi there. I am also 4 weeks post band, and have lost 20lbs. I've been stuck at the same weight for the past 2 weeks!!! I should be happy with the weight I've lost, but I'm worried that I'll be stuck here indefinitely. I exercise 3-4 days a week, and I consume 800-1000 calories a day. Maybe if I begin taking my protein shake again, I'll start to see some loss?? I'm not due for my fill until the end of november. Does anyone have some advice??? Thanks!
  3. Well, I was finally banded 9/12/06. I was thrilled!!! After months of waiting, it finally arrived. My blood sugars were through the roof, and I had just been started on medication; so it was definitely time. Surgery was great; I recovered well, had virtually no pain, and drank my liquids like a trooper. 4 weeks post op, I've lost 20lbs., but I've hit a plateu. No more weight loss, despite all of the exercising that I'm doing. I'm so frustrated!!!! I'm eating under 1000 calories, so I should be losing, but I'm not. My first fill isn't until the end of november, and I'm afraid I'm going to be a cow by then. I want to lose 10 pounds before next week, and I'm not sure how to go about it. I think I will sip on soups for dinner, and have my solids for lunch. Maybe that will help. I'll check my weight mid week..will let you know.:think
