  1. SO VERY nice, it had to be said twice....
  2. good point SnT... my sister was married in a huge bru-ha-ha Catholic church wedding... the marriage lasted less than 3 years... i married in the St. Louis County courthouse on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon... we've been married for 10 years (11 in February)... so the whole "marriage" (church) vs "civil union" (non-church) is just insignificant. who the hell should care where you are married or who you are marrying... a good grade school term... MYOB....
  3. i saw Friday's show and wow, she really has gained quite a bit.
  4. i think everyone on this whole thread would go to hell according to some...
  5. hey! you forgot Lulu!!!
  6. and that's the huge difference here.... you know, i believe in God too... but i dont want him shoved down my throat. if i wanted to be preached to at this very moment, i would go to church... there's absolutely nothing wrong with believing in God... forcing your beliefs on others and saying that they are wrong/sinners/whatnot because they dont believe what you believe... that's so not right.
  7. i've heard about the pooping... i just hope i have an empty bowel when i deliver... **shudder**
  8. you know one unfortunate missing feature on LBT is even if someone is on 'ignore', their replies are still quoted... but ... the good thing here is i can contribute too.. ***cough*** ****snort****
  9. i guess my question is why is god dragged into just about every single controversial thread lately? im all for reading and participating in a healthy debate, but this is getting very obnoxious...
  10. i hate it when people start to turn every freaking thread into a 'holy war' of sorts....
  11. RSG - i love the way you think!:thumbup:
  12. ok ... im going to preface this with i am totally clueless about L&D and my class isnt until late December/early Jan... (one full day - is that normal??) some of this stuff is kinda TMI ... sorry. - mucus plug... i already have a kind of mucus-y discharge all the time ... how different is the plug from regular discharge? will i KNOW that i've lost it? i mean is it blatantly obvious? - you said "way more blood" ... like scary bright red blood that they say if you have go to L&D or more brownish type blood (like after an exam) was it steady like a period or just when you went to the bathroom? - fetal movements... i know everyone is different and i feel him moving around, but it's not constant... maybe 2-3 'sessions' a day. i started feeling it right at 21 weeks. when did you feel pretty constant movement? - catheter... everyone get one that you know of? - post partum bleeding... how bad is it? is it like a really bad heavy period or worse? (sorry to ask this) were there lots of clotty type bleeding or just blood? how long did it last? - mesh underwear... i assume they usually supply you with some or is DH going to have to go on a mission to find some? thanks so much for sharing all of this... it really puts it in perspective (and scares the crap out of me ...) but im so sure it is worth it. Avery is truly beautiful!
  13. PJTP - even though i was up at 2, i went back to sleep and DH took the day off... i got to sleep til 9!!!!!!! woooo hoooo i totally agree with She about bell peppers... ewwwww
  14. sorry sms.. i hate that. you'd think people would just stop buying themselves stuff around christmas... DH is the same way. what about a massage/spa certificate??
  15. lulu - thanks for the tip beth - fizzies depend on your doc.. my doc says its ok, some say no... follow your doc's rules...
  16. gahhhh... way..too..early..to..post
  17. how is the training going? my DH has actually signed up for the half... I am out of running for now (26 weeks pregnant) good luck!!
  18. yeah... for some reason i dont think the lite would be that great... regular PB chocolate is great and Mocha Joe (Java whatever) is REALLY good too... even has caffeine in it... if you have a 24 hour fitness near you you can get an individual ready to drink ... yummie!!
  19. SnT & Beth - not sure if i mentioned this, but my FAVE Protein shake is muscle milk... it is pretty high in fat / cals but it's very filling.... i drank it daily when i was working my ass off at the gym.... regular = 2 scoops - 300 cals 12g fat 32g protein lite = 2 scoops - 195 cals 6g fat 25g protein (personally, i'd just do the regular for the variety) if you dont want the regular, they do have a 'light version' the regular version has a BUNCH of flavors - my fave was probably peanut butter/chocolate and Mocha Latte... cake batter was WAYYYY too sweet the light has fewer flavors and i've never tried them, but i've heard they are good!! i bought mine thru Bodybuilding.com - CytoSport Product Listing - On Sale! Lowest Prices For CytoSport! FABULOUS customer service, fast shipping and good prices... (not affiliated, just happy customer) but i know Vitamin Shoppe also has it - im sure GNC does too...
  20. posting to say i am so proud of my DH ... he smoked his personal record in the 5K!
  21. PJTP - i up but not awake....
  22. wow, Beth, we actually agree on something....
