I am currently trying to get the Lapband surgery. I have BCBS of Texas, and they have many requirements. I have done my nutritionist eval, my psych eval, my 3 month supervised diet, and have gotten my 5 year weight history. The surgeons office faxed all the paperwork to BCBS on Friday so hopefully I hear if I was approved soon! I'm getting super excited!
