I just wanted to say thank you for all of your advice! My wife is doing fine and also posts on these boards. I'm not going to give her name out as I don't think she knows I read these. I am not doing it to go behind her back or anything, I just like knowing what she might be going through and what I can do to help. Some day soon I'm sure she will see this board and my cover will be blown as I'm not very origanal with my screen name. She is doing great and I am proud of her. I think that some times I am a little over protective with what she wants to put in the blender and try to turn into liquid! I know that this gets her a little upset with me but I would rather have her a little mad at me then mad at herself because something went wrong with her band. She has not returned to work yet but will be in a few days. Well I better stop talking about her just incase she does find my thread sooner then later and is mad I talked so much about her. I love you honey when you see this I only started it for my own knowlege not to hurt you. Thank you all for your advice and I will continue to check back from time to time for any more advice you may have for me! Thank you all again!

Hello all, My wife is being banded tomorrow the 10th of October 2006 in Mexico. I support her 100% as this is what she wants. I do on the other hand have some questions about life after the band. One of my favorite things to do is cook. How will her having the band affect that? I know that for the first couple of months the affect will be huge do to the strict diet she has to follow. Also we used to go out to dinner quit often. What is it like for you and your spouses when you go to dinner now. Lastly we have a vacation for the two of us scheduled for four weeks after her surgery:clap2: Will she be up for it or should I try to get a refund now? I hope you can help me out and I would like to say congrats to all of you for taking the steps to make your life better!
