I am awaiting lapband surgery.  My surgery is in 5 days.  I have lost about 15 pounds since starting my protein shake diet required by my doctor and hope to lose more once the surgery is complete.  I am excited and nervous at the same time.  Hoping this website and forum can connect me with others ho are going through or have gone through experiences like I will be experiencing, since I only know one other person on a professional basis who has had the procedure, and heard this was a great way to get some support.  I am really looking forward to the forums.
