  9. Vayron, I have never had anesthesia so i am hoping it will go good because i have decieded i want this. I dont wanna feel like crap about myself anymore or be embarassed by my experiences and all that i read about teen success on an oparah site. and if anyone can find a failed teen one please send it to me. I am just so depressed that i would even let myself get like this.. because i love to rollerblade, bike and swim.. and i can do any of them like this.. i am either embarassed of i nearly faint from trying. Thank you all for posting so a site like this it helped me alot
  10. Well I think I am really read to say this. I truly want to do this. I am not worried about the side affects anymore.. I am more worried about what will happen if i don't do this.
  11. aw darn. :smile2: i was hoping that they would be.. but i guess they would be about the same constancy as mash potatoes. because i was reading something on here about some one had: 2week liquid pre and post op than 1 week of mush like food and then slowly into solid
  12. Ok i know this will sound bad but what about milkshakes/smoothies? like maybe if you made it at home... would that count for a liquid diet?
  13. Yeah i know how that feels to knew you cant have them.. (isnt meaning surgery just dieting alone) When i started dieting to lose weight i felt like i was unsuported because my family would bring in cakes, soda and candy and it just became to hard on me... everytime i would diet,.... it was constantly there... But just pull threw ^-^ and hope everything goes well
  14. I would think fatigue because of the change in eating and your body needing so many calories to run your body at a certain weight. but my mom was saying something about gas problems and she is afraid that i would get that and be embarrassed with myself over that. but out of most the things i read on here didnt have any such thing

  18. Hi I am Vixian, I am 19 yrs old, and i weight about 310lbs (height is 5'4" and bmi 53.2) Lately i have been really depressed out my weight i cant find clothes that fit that i like. So i have been looking into lap-band. I currently need to check on my insurance to see about it paying or not because from what i can tell i have an extreme case, and i just wanted to know what are the risks (other than death) and the side affects?
