  1. Hi, My name is bano and I live in the colonia/edison area. I would also like to have a buddy. Mostly to keep me accountable. Maybe the 3 of us can conference call once per week on 3 way or something? Just to keep ourselves motivated? I got my band in march and have only lost about 30 pounds. I know its because of my diet. I am an emotional eater and its a struggle for me everyday. Maybe we can help eachother out?? thanx
  2. hey i think thats a great idea...i would love to join in..
  3. Hi, I just had my second fill. I now have 7.25 cc in 11 cc band. How do you know you are restricted enough? I can still eat pretty much a whole sandwhich/wrap. This fill has made a difference overall though. I do get full faster. And how do you know if you are stretching your pouch? Im still learning all this stuff. Thank You for any input anyone might have.

  7. wow...thank you all so much for the responses...it feels great to know that i am not alone in this...and yes you are right...it is a lifestyle change...well it seems i am scheduled for this friday...:tongue_smilie:....i hope i can make it happen! thanx!
  8. Hello everyone, I am relatively new here. I am strongly considering lap band and am going for my 3rd consultation tomorow. I just had a question for all those experienced in this. I know my problem. I stick to a diet plan for a week, 10 days, 2 weeks and I will lose weight...but because of my emotional eating habits (which i need to learn how to control)...there will come a day that i binge. It happens over and over again and I get off track. Im wondering if the lap band will help me avoid that binge???? I think if it does just that much for me, It would be very helpful....the rest i think is up to me....what do you guys think??!! thanx in advance.
  9. i'll be seeing him on monday. and will probably choose between him and another doctor, dr. goyal in union.... thanx!
