I have been heavy my whole life. I haven't been under 220 since high school and am exploring the idea of lapband surgery. My knees are shot, I have type 2 Diabetes and I just want to enjoy the 2nd half of my life in a body that is ready to walk and see the world not just crash & burn. Some of my concerns are: being sick (as I have heard from some lapband people), having the changes in the rest of my body affect my voice- I'm a singer, leftover skin hanging off me.
