I have been overweight all my life and have finally given in to bariatric surgery(lapband) as I feel I can't control my eating. I attended a seminar on Jan 31, 2010 and received information that I was preapproved for surgery. I have had my first and only required visit on Feb 11,2010, and will be having my psych eval, on Feb 18. This is somewhat of a whirlwind, but I am extremely anxious and somewhat apprehensive about my decision. This is only the beginning of what may be a long journey, but I am ready to get it started
