i've refused for so long to have pics taken with my son because i never wanted him to have memories of how fat his mother is. I've avoided pics with him for the last 8 years and it makes me so sad. This pic of you and your daughter just makes me so excited to know that one day I will have the confidence that I can see you have in this pic. -

Thanks Cheryl, yes the before and after photos of everyone is so so inspirational. when I want to eat or when this pre-op diet gets hard I just get on here and start seeing what everyone has accomplished. thanks! -Bianca

Sammy, i'm on day two of pre-op with surgery date of the 15th. What have you done for pre-op?

hi Fern, just sent you a note - but my surgery date is for 3/15/2010 also. Where are you having your procedure done? I'm going to Mexico. Are you on your pre-op diet yet? I'm on day 2 of liquids and it's soooo hard - but I've gotten a lot done around the house in these last two days. It's a wonder how motivated you are to do other things when eating isn't filling up your days lol....:smile2: keep in touch, -Bianca

hi Ashli, I'm being banded on the 15th of March as well. checked out your blog - I can totally relate to how you feel. have you started your pre-op diet yet? what are your plans for the diet? I've gotten my lean cuisines and protein drinks but haven't officially started.

I can totally relate. My surgery date is 3/15/10 and after being on prednisone for a an unrelated issue I ended up putting on about 10lbs. I'm back down to my original pre-surgery weight but haven't lost any of my weight for surgery as of yet and I only have 3 weeks left. I also keep thinking about what life will be like after the band, putting things off like starting to work out etc....until after surgery. I dont think this mind set is good and it's only making time go even slower. :sad: any encouraging words from anyone that's been here before would surely help.
Maybe then i won't be so worried about posting the before pics. -Bianca
