  1. Does anyone have any suggestions how to ease this pain? Ice? Heating pads? I'm open to anything! Thanks!
  2. Thank you all so much for your responses. It is really good to know that I am not the only one going thru this experience! Good luck to you all and keep up the hard work!
  3. My surgeon said it was from the dye they used during the surgery to check the placement of the band...took a good week to stop...
  4. Hi! I am post op day 9 from having the Realize band and still have soo much pain at the port site! The surgeon told me at my post op check up that the port is secured using 4 metal hooks and eventually scar tissue will form and I won't have this pain. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this experience and if so, how long until the pain went away?
  5. Sorry so graphic...I am 3 days post op and have been having very frequent (up to 10-12 times a day!) episodes of diarrhea since day 1!! The churning in my stomach is awful as well. I called my surgeon and he said I can try liquid Immodium or Kaopectate, which have both done nothing to help the situation. I'm still on the clear liquid phase of my diet. Has anyone else had this situation? If so, what helped you and how long did it last? Thank you for any input!
